About Scheme:The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had already launched the RBI young scholars Award for the year 2012. Most young candidates will get interest in Indian Banking Sector and RBI. The main objective of this scheme is to encourage the youngster to learn about the RBI. Selected candidates have to work in selected offices of RBI for 2 to 3 months. Candidates will be paid consolidated stipend of Rs.7500/- each.Educational Qualification:

1) Students all over India who are currently pursuing their UG.
2) Students who completed 10th and 12th or its equivalent from recognized institutions/board in 2011 or before.
3) Age: All students between 18 and 23 as on September 1st 2011.
4) PS: Candidates who already applied and worked at RBI through young scholar scheme are not eligible to apply to again.
Number of seats: Number of Candidates and RBI would select 150 candidates all over India through competitive Exam every year.Entrance Exam:Test is based on the role and functions of RBI and banking system in India.

Language Preference: Competitive Exam will be conducted in English, Hindi and 11 other regional languages. The regional languages will be Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Test Type: Written test with objective type questions.
Duration: 90 minutes.

Written Test Date: January 29th 2012.
Call letter for written Examination
The candidates who already applied for this scheme can download Call letter online by entering the registration number & password or date of birth on or after January 12th 2012 from the RBI official website. After downloading call letter, photocopy should be affixed and signed across by the candidate. Three copies of cal letter with same photograph should be taken while appearing for the written exam.
